Here you will find my latest instrument projects. Some of the guitars are finished and some are still in the works. This website is updated as instruments are completed or new projects begin. All guitars are one of a kind. I primarily build archtop guitars.

I retired in 2022, after which I have worked semi-professionally and made instruments mainly according to my own preferences. I built electric guitars and guitar pickups for years, but I think it's time for something different now. Retirement offers an opportunity to build instruments that sometimes were not made due to financial circumstances or lack of time. Hopefully there will be enough good years from now on, so many ideas and guitars should still be implemented.

I use only first-class materials in my instruments. Many of the woods I use have been dried for years, which is important for the end result to be a good-sounding and stable instrument. Spruce or red cedar has been used for the top. I prefer maple or mahogany for the body and hard maple or Honduran mahogany for the neck. The fretboards are usually ebony, but good quality rosewood is also possible.

I am not a stranger to alternative materials either. Working at Flaxwood guitars (10 years) gave me a perspective on different ways and materials to make instruments. Although I believe that if you want a traditional sound, you should prefer traditional materials.
When making guitars, I try to combine modern CNC technology with traditional craftsmanship. I think it is good to use a machine for routine work steps and, for example, to do finishing mainly by hand.

I make the pickups for my archtop guitars myself. There are three models; two floating humbucker models and one floating single-coil.
